Full time; Project office in Grenada, occasional regional or international missions

Duration

February 2025 until March 2026, with possibility for extension

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of the physical office operations, including asset management, reception and meeting facilitation
  • Organizes and coordinates logistical aspects for planning, holding and documenting meetings, workshops, seminars and other events
  • Arranges programmes for visitors, makes travel arrangements such as booking tickets, flights, hotel reservations, transport etc. for GIZ staff and project partners
  • Management of petty cash and programme bank accounts in line with GIZ regulations
  • Answers, reviews, forwards and/or takes calls
  • Updates the filing system daily with incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Updates of contact databases
  • Accurate and up to date records management for all administration documents

Profile requirements

Qualifications

  • Certificate/diploma or comparable qualification from a commercial academy (Accounting and/or Administration)
  • Candidate must be a Citizen of Grenada or be allowed to work in Grenada.

Professional Experience and required competences

  • At least 2 years’ professional experience in a comparable position
  • Broad experience of management and administration
  • Very good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related accounting software, phone, fax, email, the internet), computer applications (e.g. MS Office)

Languages, applications and other competences

  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Good management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and good team spirit
  • Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed – corresponding measures are agreed with management
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive
