Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced IT Project Management Engineer to lead and manage IT projects from initiation to delivery.
- The candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in IT service management, agile methodologies, and project management tools.
- The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications and have experience in managing cross- functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring on-time, within- budget, and high-quality delivery
- Develop and execute project plans, resource allocation plans, and risk management plans
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications
- Manage and track project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, marketing, and product development
- Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and IT standards –
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, as needed
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, project charters, and status reports
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Requirements
- Relevant certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP)/ Prince2 Practitioner, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) , ITIL Foundation Certification (or higher), Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT project management
- Strong proficiency in project management tools, such as Microsoft Project (MSP), Jira, Trello
- Excellent leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile teams
- Flexibility to adapt to changing technology and business needs.
