We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Manager

Locations: Ogijo, Ogun and Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Network Design and Implementation:

  • Plan, configure, and deploy network systems, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Design network layouts and ensure they meet organizational needs and scalability requirements.

Network Management:

  • Monitor network performance and availability, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime.
  • Perform regular network maintenance, including hardware and software updates, to ensure network reliability and security.

System Management:

  • Management, configuration of applications/infrastructure AD domain management, User/group/account management, Group Policy objects, DHCP, WSUS, DNS, IIS. Hardening of laptop/desktop by deployment of AD policies.
  • Technical understanding of RAID Configuration, NTFS Permissions, Software and service pack installation, Roles and Feature Wizards etc
  • Backup Management– Manage/monitor Veeam backup, setting policies.
  • Antivirus: Mcafee Antivirus management tools especially McAfee EPO, Virus definitions/signature update, setting policies, DLP configuration and management.
  • Patch management: Manage deployment of patches through WSUS and manually if required.
  • Security – Ensure overall security & health of infrastructure is as per established guidelines & implementation of best practices.
  • Communication:Communicate with vendor & purchase team for quotation of IT materials as per specific requirement.
  • Learning:Keep systems updated as per latest threat reports by constantly reviewing known and zero-day vulnerabilities and their fixes.

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity, performance, and security problems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues reported by users.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Prepare and present reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with other IT staff to ensure network solutions integrate smoothly with other IT systems and services.

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure network operations comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest network technologies and best practices to continually improve network performance and security.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with 8 – 12 years work experience.
  • Skills: Must have good English communication skills.
  • Experience: Industry Background: Candidates should have experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • End-User Support: It is essential that candidates have a strong background in providing hands-on end-user support, with proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving network related issues for users on-site.
