We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

General Job Description Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compiling comprehensive out-of-stock lists from all pharmacies within designated timelines.
  • Create and process purchase orders, obtain necessary approvals, and transmit orders to suppliers. Follow up diligently to ensure timely delivery or pickup.
  • Handling invoice collection, purchase order creation, and order distribution efficiently.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all purchase Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Managing increasing procurement demands of inventory and supplies for manufacturing activities using QuickBooks/ERP systems.
  • Conducting inspections of received stock and promptly reporting any discrepancies, faults, or short-dated items to supervisors and suppliers.
  • Verifying receipt of items by cross-referencing received items with ordered items.
  • Ensuring all received stock is accurately logged into the system, transferred to the appropriate branch, packaged, labeled correctly, and delivered promptly.
  • Facilitating timely returns of goods with proper approval, ensuring all returns are processed within 48 hours of purchase.
  • Maintaining meticulous records of purchases, pricing, and supplier transactions.
  • Collaborating with the accounting department to reconcile invoices and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Generating daily reports on purchase orders, received supplies, pharmacy transfers, and other relevant information for review by supervisors and the Purchase Manager.
  • Fulfilling any additional tasks or assignments delegated by supervisors or management.
  • Adhering strictly to organizational rules and policies.

Physical Skills:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 25kg at times.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 1 – 2 years work experience.

Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
