Description
- The Inventory Officer will be a member of warehouse team, responsible for overseeing inventory levels, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that stock is managed efficiently to meet the organization’s operational requirements.
- The role involves coordinating with suppliers, tracking shipments, and minimizing inventory discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure availability and avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
- Manage inventory storage, ensuring proper labeling, organization, and security.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to track incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Generate inventory reports and provide insights for operational planning.
- Identify and address potential inventory issues, such as shortages or damaged goods.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in inventory management.
- Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
