We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Controller

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Purpose

  • The key purposeof this role is to follow and complete all governance processes and documentation, to ensure that any and all physical movement of inventory is correctly reflected in SAP. Assist with primary and secondary distribution activities as required.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily and monthly physical inventory count
  • Conduct stock count according to company standards and procedures
  • Ensure that hand held used in the stock process are set up correctly and maintained accordingly
  • Stock Management
  • Adhere to all physical pre stock take procedures
  • Print and action pre stock take reports
  • Process all stock adjustments prior to starting stock take, include sorted containers
  • Start stock take on SAP and upload physical stock count from stock take system
  • Print stock variance report and investigate all variances
  • Post all authorised unresolved variances daily
  • End stock take on SAP and print relevant posting and audit reports
  • Compile daily stock pack and have pack signed off by relevant parties
  • Conduct ad hoc stock counts for unresolved variances
  • Facilitate daily and monthly physical inventory count
  • Conduct stock count according to company standards and procedure
  • Ensure missing broken and foreign survey sheet captured daily
  • Communicate missing foreign and broken for follow up with customers
  • Charge depots/drivers for shortages
  • Ensure that handheld used in the stock process are set up correctly and maintained accordingly
  • Stock Management
  • Adhere to all physical pre stock take procedures
  • Print and action pre stock take reports
  • Process all stock adjustments prior to starting stock take, including sorted containers
  • Start stock take on SAP and upload physical stock count from stock take system
  • Print stock variance report and investigate all variances
  • Post all authorised unresolved variances daily
  • End stock take on SAP and print relevant posting and audit reports
  • Compile daily stock pack and have pack signed off by relevant parties
  • Conduct ad hoc stock counts for unresolved variances
  • Check that route settlement corrections have been processed correctly
  • Clear SAP open cycles
  • Reconcile diesel/gas stock weekly and order as required
  • Recharge diesel /gas monthly
  • Update relevant visual districts
  • SD Shipments
  • Ensure that all post goods issues have been processed for all deliveries and driver corrections
  • All proof of delivery notes has been checked and accounted for
  • Check and sign off missing and unsigned invoice register daily
  • Ensure that all daily load plans and distribution gate registers have been checked and are on file
  • Assist with resolving and correcting invoice queries
  • PD Shipments
  • Ensure that all post goods issues have been processed
  • Check that no deliveries have been post goods issues without shipments
  • Ensure that all inter depot movement notes have been checked against
  • inter depot gate register and filed
  • Follow up all inter depot in transit shipments if not received
  • Inter depot claims must be logged in accordance to claim procedure
  • Confirm inter depot movements with Breweries on a monthly basis
  • Maintain product quality standards
  • Ensure FIFO principle is applied to stock movements by printing bin pulling sheets for warehouse
  • Drive compliance Adherence to stock age policy, ensure that all concessions are raised and approved
  • Adherence to product recall policy
  • Ensure Frozen stock must be physically isolated on the floor and moved to the blocked stock zone on SAP to stop orders from being placed against stock and to reflect the correct days of cover
  • Monitor outer packaging quality
  • Missing broken and foreign reporting
  • Ensure missing broken and foreign surveys are conducted according to policy.

Profile

  • Minimum of B.Sc / B.Tech / HND in a related field.
  • 2 – 3 years experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Computer Literate
  • MS Office/Excel
  • SAP literacy advantageous
  • Have high levels of integrity and honesty
  • Have attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal ability and communication skills
  • Ability to manage self
  • Have good analytical and problem-solving ability.
