Job Title: Internal Control and Compliance Executive

About the Role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Control and Compliance Executive to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating internal processes, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- You’ll play a key role in safeguarding the company’s integrity and promoting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and enforce internal control and compliance systems across the organization
- Monitor and report on operational, financial, and regulatory risks
- Conduct internal audits and ensure the timely closure of control gaps
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Develop compliance programs and deliver training to staff on regulatory updates
- Collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions and process improvements
- Maintain and update documentation for compliance checks and audit trails
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in internal control, audit, or compliance roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ethics.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and familiarity with audit tools are advantages.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CIA, CISA) are a plus
- The ability to resume work immediately is a strong advantage.
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly
