DKT NIGERIA is set to recruit an Internal Audit Graduate Trainee This role provides an opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in auditing processes, risk assessment, and compliance within a dynamic organization. The successful candidate will support the internal audit team in evaluating financial records, operational procedures, and internal controls to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Audit & Compliance Support
  2. Assist in conducting financial and operational audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
  3. Assist in examining financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  4. Prepare audit findings, working papers, and recommendations for management review.
  5. Document observations and assist in drafting audit reports.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date audit records.
  7. Help identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  8. Support risk assessment initiatives and participate in control evaluations.
  9. Execute any other duty assigned by the line manager

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of post NYSC experience in auditing, accounting, or finance is a plus.
  3. Basic knowledge of audit principles, risk management, and financial reporting.
  4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  5. Good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. High level of integrity and professionalism.
