Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with the corporate affairs commission, in accordance with the Nigerian Law, FRAD work in both humanitarian and development sector to build the resilience of Vulnerable populations through our interventions in thematic areas of WASH, Nutrition, Protection, Education and early recovery and livelihood. Job Summary:
The holder of this position will support the integration, archiving, and extraction of large datasets for cross referencing and statistical analysis. It also involves designing workflows and data collection models where necessary. The holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a dissemination strategy for all information productsfor FRAD Foundation
Duties and Responsibility
- The MIS officer will Play a lead role in the design, development, management and improvement of data management systems including database and spreadsheets, along with related process for data collection, cleaning and verification;
- The MIS officer will maintain a client-oriented approach that ensures the FRAD provides high-quality information management services and products to the FRAD office and to members of the humanitarian community;
- The MIS officer collect, compile, analyses and reporting of various primary and secondary data from various sources and organize the structural record keeping and archival.
- The Officer will customize system vocabularies;
- He/she will contribute to the application of FRAD Metadata Standards and Record-Keeping Policies, including but not limited to the application of metadata standards, project documentation standards and document management conventions.
- Support and participating in analytical work by processing data and information in a suitable format;
- Maintain a close working relationship with counterparts in partner agencies and organizations;
- Liaise with FRAD staff and partners to ensure that database development, data entry, and data extraction methods provide optimum functionality and usability to stakeholders and FRAD clients;
- Conducting regular trainings for sector/cluster members and working closely with the MEAL focal points making sure that the process of data entry is going smoothly;
- Working with the FRAD team in order to produce reports, maps and charts from the data;
Promoting the adoption of FRAD Information Management tools and techniques by FRAD staff and partners;

Requirement:
- 2 years’ experience in planning for monitoring and evaluation.
- Computer skills, especially in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, power bi, QGIS and Excel
- IT literate
- Experience in Electronic Data Collection.
- You are required to have at least 2 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in the area of information management system, previous relevant experience with a NGO sector is an advantage
Desirable skills:
- Must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Officer suite.
- You are required to be knowledgeable in managing databases, producing reports and good with figures
- You must be committed to the ethics and code of conduct of the MIS profession and familiar with the Core Humanitarian Standards.
- You must understand data protection and the need for confidentiality. You must have strong written and oral communication skills; the ability to explain and visualize complex issues to expert and non-expert audiences; and excellent presentation skills.
- You must be a good team player able to organize and prioritize workload.
- You must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment, including the ability to build relationships with colleagues at long distances.
