Job Overview

  • The Immigration Case Manager / Immigration Lawyer will oversee the processing of immigration cases, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and efficiency.
  • This position entails managing a team responsible for preparing immigration petitions and applications, liaising with clients, and maintaining case workflow in accordance with legal requirements and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Case Management:

  • Direct the case preparation process, ensuring complete accuracy of applications and adherence to all immigration laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the caseload distribution and monitor the progress of each case, adjusting resources as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on their immigration process, maintaining an open line of communication throughout their case.

Operational Excellence:

  • Develop and implement operational policies tailored to the immigration services sector, driving process improvements and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze operational data and reports to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure operational adherence to immigration laws, regulatory standards, and ethical practices.

Team Supervision and Development:

  • Lead a team of immigration professionals, fostering an environment of learning, efficiency, and excellence.
  • Conduct training sessions to keep staff updated on the latest immigration laws and case management techniques.
  • Evaluate team performance, providing feedback and professional development opportunities to aid career growth.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved expediently.
  • Uphold a client-centric approach, ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term relationships.

Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation for all cases, ensuring readiness for any audits or compliance checks.
  • Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and ensure all submissions meet applicable legal standards.

Resource Management:

  • Forecast operational needs and manage the budget, optimizing the use of resources while controlling costs.
  • Identify and engage with external vendors, consultants, and government agencies as needed.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Provide comprehensive reports on case statuses, operational challenges, and team performance to senior management.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication within the team and across departments to align with the company’s objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in immigration case management, ideally within a legal or corporate environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of U.S. immigration procedures and regulations.
  • Must have experience in other immigration pathways
  • Vast experience in other European immigration pathways.
  • Proven track record in operational management, process improvement, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Competency in case management systems and standard office software.
