Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with CAC in accordance to the Nigerian law, FRAD has over the years been actively involved with frontline responses to emergencies caused by the recent crisis in Northeast Nigeria, we also respond to emerging development needs in Nigeria through holistic approach that proffer durable solutions using the triple nexus approach. FRAD response focus on addressing the needs of women, girls, adolescents, youths and Persons living with disabilities via our various response in Health/Nutrition, Protection, WASH/Environment and Peace building, our responses provide support and enhance the protective factors of the most vulnerable populations affected by varying crisis which include humanitarian, development and economic crisis. Over the years, FRAD has demonstrated capacity in implementing a cross-sectoral response that meets the needs of the most vulnerable people and we are broadening our scope through the implementation of our 2024-2027 strategic plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct household visits to promote hygiene practices and provide education on proper hand washing, sanitation, and hygiene
- Organize community events, meetings, and campaigns to promote hygiene awareness
- Collaborate with community leaders, religious leaders, and other stakeholders to promote hygiene practices
- Educate community members the importance of safe water handling and proper hand washing practices, and food hygiene to prevent the spread of disease such as cholera
- Conduct demonstrations on proper hand washing, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Control crowd during distribution of Hygiene kits
- Teach beneficiaries how to properly use kits and maintain good hygiene practices
- Established/set hand washing stations to strategic locations and ensuring the availability of water and soap and promote hand washing at critical times (before eating and after using the toilet)
- Conduct house to house hygiene messaging and monitoring of hygiene practices and provide guidance.
- Promote hygiene behaviors and address barriers and misconceptions.
- Promote the importance of proper sanitation facilities and waste management to prevent the spread of diseases.
- Regularly collect data on the reach and impact of hygiene promotion activities
- Identify gaps and challenges to inform adaptive programming and improve the effectiveness of interventions.
Experience and technical competencies
- Candidate must be Shinkafi indigene
- Knowledge of PSEA and safeguarding
- Experience in managing people
- Knowledge of WASH (hardware will be an advantage)
- Good communication skills
- Good oral and written English.
- Knowledge of report writing
