Job Brief
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR and Commpliance Officer for our client.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for making and ensuring policy compliance in the organisation.
Job Description
- Regulate and manage internal company policy, code of conduct and ethics.
- Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
- Draft and revise company policies
- Take action in dealing with non-compliance situations and creating realistic plans to overcome them.
- Communicate with employees and rnsure they comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance and make effective legal compliance program
- Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
- Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses
- Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk
- Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed
- Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
- Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
- Design and manage control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies.
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
- Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Human Resources, Business/Administration, International Relations or relevant field
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in HR & Compliance.
- Knowledge of Labour laws and HR policies.
- Remain up to date on federal and state laws related to the organization and update policies accordingly.
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager
- Experience in risk management
- Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Integrity and professional ethics
- Business acumen
- Attention to detail.
Salary
N140,000 – N160,000 Monthly.
