Job Title: Human Resources (HR) / Administrative Assistant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

  • The HR/Admin Assistant will provide support in daily HR and administrative tasks, helping to ensure smooth operations, efficient communication, and an excellent employee experience across the organization.
  • This role is essential in supporting our people strategy during rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment processes (posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates).
  • Support onboarding and offboarding procedures for employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records, files, and databases.
  • Help coordinate training sessions and employee engagement activities.
  • Track employee attendance, leave, and ensure timely updates in HR systems.
  • Support performance review processes and maintain HR documentation
  • Manage office supplies, facilities, and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
  • Prepare letters, reports, and documentation as needed by the HR or operations team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and HR best practices.
  • Handle staff inquiries related to administrative or HR issues.
  • Organize meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR tools/systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality.
