Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Description

  • As an HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team with day-to-day HR operations.
  • You will help manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration, ensuring smooth processes that empower the talented workforce to thrive in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs to ensure a positive and efficient new hire experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and confidential files in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support HR initiatives related to performance management, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
  • Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and team-building activities.
  • Collaborate with managers and team leaders to support workforce planning and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations specific to the fashion retail industry.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics as requested by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 4 – 5 years experience in an HR role, ideally within retail, fashion, or a fast-paced consumer goods environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in HR software (e.g., HRIS systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Passion for fashion and understanding of the industry culture is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multitask efficiently.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / Month.
