Job Summary
- We seek an experienced HSE Manager to lead our health, safety, and environmental programmes. The role is critical to ensuring zero harm operations and compliance with Nigerian and international HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE management systems
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian HSE regulations and international standards
- Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Conduct HSE audits and risk assessments
- Design and deliver HSE training programmes
- Monitor HSE performance and prepare reports
- Interface with regulatory authorities and clients on HSE matters
- Lead emergency response planning and preparedness
- Promote HSE culture throughout the organization
- Manage HSE budget and resources
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of HSE experience in oil & gas operations
- Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.)
- Experience with HSE management systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
- Knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in incident investigation and analysis
- Risk assessment and management expertise
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in HSE or related field
- Experience with well intervention operations
- International HSE certifications
- Emergency response training and experience
- Environmental management experience
- Regulatory interface experience.
