Job Summary
- We are searching for an experienced and skilled HR Officer with a microfinance background to lead our Human Resources department.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the HR department, developing HR strategies, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the HR department and ensure effective management of HR functions.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide HR support to management and staff on recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Manage employee data, records, and documentation.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and development.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resource, preferably in the microfinance or banking sector.
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., CIPM, SHRM-CP, HRCI).
- Strong understanding of microfinance operations and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
