Job Summary
- We are looking for a results-driven HR Manager with a firm approach to managing people, processes, and performance.
- The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the hiring and termination process, enforce discipline, uphold company policies, and ensure only top-performing individuals thrive within our fast-paced fashion house.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment with a strong emphasis on hiring high-performing talent aligned with company culture and goals.
- Execute termination procedures professionally and legally, ensuring poor performance or misconduct is dealt with promptly.
- Develop and enforce HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, recommending promotions or terminations based on KPIs and conduct.
- Manage the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Oversee staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during all business hours.
- Implement systems and processes to improve productivity and workflow.
- Follow up on training, and manage a team of production and administrative personnel.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that aligns with the company’s vision and values.
- Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost-saving without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and enhance brand visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client needs and resolving complaints promptly.
- Gather client feedback to refine product offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Creative Director.
- Train and coach department heads on effective people management and accountability.
- Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for repeated misconduct, absenteeism, or under performance.
- Lead exit interviews, analyze trends, and reduce employee turnover through effective talent management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal company standards.
- Maintain detailed records on employee performance, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience in a high-performance, fast-paced industry (fashion, media, manufacturing, etc.)
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent financial and operational management skills.
- Knowledge of fashion production processes and supply chain management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Proven track record of making tough HR decisions fairly and professionally.
- Unafraid to take bold decisions for the good of the company culture and output.
Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
