Job Title: HR Manager
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Ensure accurate employee records are maintained and update regularly.
- Prepare the monthly payroll and payments for staff salaries and / or allowances in accordance with local employment regulations, ensuring that all required statutory deductions are made and paid.
- Develop and maintain the pay plan and benefits program, including the complete end-to-end payroll process from initiation to finalization.
- Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues ensuring a balance in representing all parties’ engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources management.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Capacity to work under pressure and manage personal stress levels.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
