Job Title: HR Management Executive

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced HR Management Executive to lead and elevate our HR operations.
  • This leadership role will require a strong focus on developing and implementing comprehensive HR policies and systems, addressing recruitment needs, and driving organizational growth.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in HR management, with the ability to act quickly and efficiently, ready to assume responsibilities immediately upon hire.

Job Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Prepare offer letters and contracts for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation sessions and document collection, and ensure smooth integration into the organization.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees to address HR-related queries and concerns.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Mediate conflict resolution between employees and management when needed.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the implementation of performance management systems, including the scheduling and coordination of performance appraisals.
  • Track employee progress against performance goals and provide administrative support for performance improvement plans (PIPs).
  • Maintain records of performance reviews, ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate.

Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee salaries and benefits.
  • Assist in maintaining records of employee benefits such as health insurance and pension.
  • Track and report employee leave balances, such as vacation, sick leave, and personal days.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to human resources management.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records, including personal details, contracts, and certifications.
  • Prepare HR reports as required by management, including attendance, turnover, and compliance documentation.

HR Policy and Procedure Development:

  • Contribute to the creation and updating of HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and compliance with changing regulations.
  • Ensure that all HR-related documents are readily accessible to employees and adhere to company standards.
  • Assist in communicating HR policies to employees and ensuring their understanding and compliance.

For Elvaridah:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet the objectives of the organization
  • Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
  • Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods
  • Create and publish job ads in various portals
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
  • Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans
  • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
  • Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification such as CIPM, APHRi or PHRI qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Proven track record of establishing and implementing HR policies and systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment and workforce planning.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • A culture-driven mindset with the ability to foster and maintain a positive organizational culture.

Required Skill Set:

  • Tech-savvy and experienced with word processing and email programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Active listening and good communication skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong time-management and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary
N150,000 – N170,000 Monthly.
