Job Title: HR Intern

Job Summary
- Under the overall supervision of the HR Partner, the HR Intern role is to ensure proper organization and administration of the unit with regards to recruitment, employee files and records and any other duties assigned.
- This is a 3 months contract with possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling interviews and confirm applicant availability; writing of interview reports, and documentation as well as responding to candidates on feedback from the interview
- Updating employee databases, maintaining personnel files, and ensuring data accuracy.Â
- Documentation of certificates and other employee credentials.
- Scan and file historical documents and assist in converting historical personnel physical documents into electronic data.
- Develop, document, or maintain standards, best practices, or system usage procedures.
- Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Administration, or a related field.
- 1 year or less experience working in the human resources department of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters discreetly and gain the trust and confidence of colleagues.
- Competences to assess priorities, manage a variety of complex activities simultaneously in a time-sensitive environment, and meet competing deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with diverse staff and clients
- Ability to understand comprehensive information.
- Basic numeracy and IT skills required for operating various systems.
- Ability to interpret, analyzes, and explains the official framework employment regulation.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of labor laws
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality and approachability.
