Job Title: HR Generalist

Summary
- The HR Generalist is responsible for staff recruitment and engagement; executing staff performance management framework; conducting staff employment reviews including timely confirmation of employment; managing employee remuneration including compensation and benefits; driving resolution of workplace conflicts and maintenance of positive team culture; execute staff retention strategies including employee wellness and skills development programs amongst others.
Requirements
- Work with the Head of HR & Administration to implement HR polices and strategies
- Assess and anticipate human resources-related needs
- Generate contracts for promotions, transfers, and new hires in collaboration with Corporate Services department and management.
- Identify training needs and create or procure a professional development curriculum.
- Monitor training programs to ensure that training objectives are met.
- Provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as contribute to plans for business unit restructuring
- Develop and nurture partnerships through human resources to bridge the divide between management and employees.
- Maintain awareness of the culture, plans, financial position, and competition of the business units under the HR purview.
- Touch base with each business unit on a weekly meetings and participate in relevant meetings.
- Consult regularly with management and provide guidance when appropriate.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the human resources department to develop policies, programs, and solutions.
- Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
- Explore ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with the legal department when necessary
- Interpret human resources policy to company management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Public Administration, Business Administration or any other related field.
- CIPM and other relevant and recognised professional certifications
- Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in similar role
- Proven experience in human resource.
