Job Title: Hotel Project Supervisor

Job Summary
- A Hotel Project Supervisor oversees the planning, execution, and completion of hotel construction or renovation projects.Â
- They ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while also managing staff and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Â The role involves a mix of technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets;Â coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders;Â monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.Â
- Budget Management: Ensuring projects stay within allocated budgets, managing expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Â
- Quality Control: Ensuring work is completed to the required standards, conducting inspections, and addressing any quality issues.Â
- Staff Management: Supervising and motivating project staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring a productive work environment.Â
- Communication and Coordination: Maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders, facilitating meetings, and resolving any conflicts or issues.Â
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Â
- Reporting: Providing regular updates on project progress to management and other stakeholders.Â
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving any problems or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.Â
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in project management, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.Â
- Technical Expertise: Understanding of construction principles, building codes, and project management methodologies.Â
- Leadership and Management: Ability to motivate and supervise a team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.Â
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships, and facilitate collaboration.Â
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to identify and analyze problems, develop solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.Â
- Organizational and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.Â
- Knowledge of Hotel Operations: Understanding of hotel standards, guest services, and other relevant aspects of hotel management.Â
- In essence, a Hotel Project Supervisor acts as a central point of contact for all aspects of a hotel construction or renovation project, ensuring its successful completion within the defined parameters
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
