Here’s where you come in:
As HIV Technical Specialist, you will provide essential technical support to World Vision International in Papua New Guinea’s implementation of Global Fund’s Grant Cycle 7 (2025–2026), focusing on integrated TB/HIV responses. Collaborating with the National HIV Program, the specialist will guide the Principal Recipient (PR) team and Sub-Recipients (SRs) in delivering HIV prevention, care, and treatment services targeting Key Populations, including men who have sex with men, sex workers, transgender individuals, and people who inject drugs. With a focus on implementation fidelity and alignment with national HIV strategies and global standards, you will ensure enhanced service quality, effective interventions, and capacity building to achieve measurable results within the two-year grant cycle.
Requirements include:
- A medical degree (MD, MBBS) or a relevant advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in HIV program implementation, with specific focus on Key Populations. Proven experience in working with global health programs, including those supported by the Global Fund, is highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of experience working in HIV program implementation, with a strong background in HIV clinical management, prevention, and monitoring.
- Experience working in resource-limited settings, particularly in HIV programs supported by international donors such as the Global Fund.
- Proven experience in training, mentoring, and building capacity in health staff and local communities.
