Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and respect.
- Communicating effectively with students to share information about student progress, concerns, and support strategies.
- Providing individualized support to students who may be struggling or require additional support
- Continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and staying updated on best practices in teaching and subject-matter knowledge.
- Working collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and staff members to enhance the school’s educational programs and student outcomes.
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, selecting appropriate teaching materials and resources, and ensuring curriculum coverage.
- Assess student performance and set goals
- Use technology to enhance learning experiences
- Setting assessments and overseeing examinations
- Keep an orderly classroom
- Engage & encourage students to learn
- Prepare the classroom for class activities
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Ed / PGCE / PGDE with at least 3 years work experience.
- Must have Subject Matter Expertise
- Must have experience teaching and preparing students for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education(IGCSE)
- Must possess time management, conflict resolution, classroom management skill.
