The LACMENA Cluster manages Médecins du Monde operations in Latin America/Caribbean (Colombia, Mexico) and in North Africa/Middle East (Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Yemen). It currently consists of a division manager, three desk managers, three program support managers, two health referents and one mental health and psychosocial support referent.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Under the supervision of the head of the LACMENA center and in conjunction with the head of the quality practices center (Health Advocacy Department)

You provide technical support to project teams to guarantee the quality of health practices within programs in their definition and implementation.

The geographical scope of this position currently covers the following countries: Mexico, Colombia, Iraq, Yemen.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Contribute to the development of the operational strategy and the advocacy strategy of the programs and participate in the development and construction of projects
  • Participate in the definition of indicators, monitoring and evaluation as well as the analysis and valorization of health data
  • Supervise the planning and monitoring of health activities and dedicated human and financial resources
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and adaptation of tools, protocols and reference frameworks for programs
  • Monitor and analyze the health situation and health policies in the countries in your portfolio
  • Supervise and analyze the management of pharmaceutical products
  • Participate in the recruitment of health personnel and contribute to team briefings
  • Provide your technical support regarding team health within the framework of MdM rules and policies
  • Represent the association at conferences
  • Participate in MdM internal training
  • Contribute to the writing of reports or scientific articles

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Status:  Employee

Contract:  Permanent contract / Full time

  • Position to be filled as soon as possible
  • Based at the headquarters in Saint-Denis with travel to international missions (around 3 per year lasting 1 to 3 weeks)
  • Gross monthly salary of 3,570 euros
  • Position status: executive
  • 13th month equivalent paid in 2 installments – from 6 months of actual work seniority
  • Mutual (60% participation of MdM and 40% of the employee)
  • 22.5 RTT / in
  • 5 weeks of paid vacation / year
  • Restaurant vouchers worth 9.00 euros (60% contribution from MdM)
  • Public transport ticket reimbursement at 50%
  • Teleworking agreement subject to eligibility of your position: 110 days of teleworking per year (i.e. on average 2.5 days of teleworking per week) with the obligation to work face-to-face at least 5 days per month

REQUIRED PROFILE :

  • Doctor, pharmacist, nurse, midwife/midwife
  • 3 years minimum of professional experience and 4 years minimum of field experience (particularly in coordination)
  • Public health knowledge
  • Organizational abilities and to manage priorities
  • Languages: French, English and Spanish, fluent (written and spoken) essential
  • You adhere to the values ​​and activist positioning of Médecins du Monde.
