Established in 1979, our association is an international non-governmental organization – Action contre la Faim – fight against hunger in the world. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after the situations of’ emergency related to conflicts and natural disasters.
Today, Action contre la Faim is a major player in the fight against hunger in the world. Structured as an international network, our organization is leading a coordinated response in nearly 50 countries. Our priority is to’ act concretely on the ground and testify on the fate of the populations.
Because the causes of hunger are multiple, our response is multisectoral and’ relies on strong expertise.
