Job Title: Head of Programs and Grants
Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Role Purpose
- As the Head of Programs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective design, implementation, and evaluation of our programs aimed at keeping children and women safe.
- Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will oversee all programmatic activities, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and deliver measurable impact.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Lead program design, implementation and evaluationÂ
- Provide leadership and maintain high capacity and highly motivated program team.Â
- Support capacity building for program teams.Â
- Support strategic planning and coordination.Â
- Support resource mobilization.Â
- Support advocacy and external engagements.Â
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of development and humanitarian aid management experience.Â
- Extensive experience in program management in the humanitarian or development sector, with a strong track record of successful program design and delivery.Â
- Demonstrable experience in leading complex multi-sectorial emergency response and development programs.Â
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that achieve sustainable impact.Â
- Experience in proposal development and resource mobilization, with a successful track record of securing funding.Â
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in developing and utilizing monitoring and evaluation frameworks.Â
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.Â
- Demonstrate experience managing a team.Â
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required; knowledge of relevant local languages is an asset. Â
