Finchglow Holdings is a premier aviation company providing comprehensive travel management, cargo services, and training across all sectors of the economy, including corporate entities, trade partners, and individuals. Our corporate headquarters is situated in Ikoyi, southwest Lagos. The group consists of six (6) subsidiaries specializing in various aspects of the aviation industry downstream, along with two (2) affiliates, one of which operates in the upstream aviation sector. We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Lagos

Job Purpose
- As the Head of Finance, you are responsible for the overall financial integrity, operations, investing and working capital management of the organization.
- You are accountable for the financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and to report accurate financial results.
- The accountant will review and reconcile ledgers and financial statements and maintain banking relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial operations of the subsidiary and implement operational best practices.
- Prepare daily reports to the GMD, Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts, arrange for debt and equity financing.
- Review and reconcile ledgers and financial statements.
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
- Devise and implement manual or computer-based system for general accounting
- Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
- These reports include balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns.
- Formulating and review of finance policies and procedures
- Direct and coordinate activities of other accountants performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
- Regular training of accountants within the group
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure that all financial data is correctly captured and reported.
- Audits and prepares reports to substantiate transactions prior to settlement.
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Certifications
- B.Sc in Accounting and a minimum of seven years’ experience
- Professional certifications are an added advantage.
Experience:
- At least 3 years’ professional experience in the travel industry.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to pay excellent level attention to detail
- Excellent level of initiative and ability to work autonomously
- High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change and a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
- Proven time management with the ability to meet deadlines, organizational, and planning skills
- Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skill.
