Job Overview
- Our client is hiring a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to lead its finance function. This role is critical for driving financial discipline, designing scalable systems, and supporting sustainable growth.
- The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial planning, compliance, reporting, and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the company’s financial strategy and long-term planning
- Build and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets
- Track key financial and operational metrics to guide decision-making
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Develop financial reporting systems and managerial accounts
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Establish and maintain financial controls and internal policies
- Drive transparency, procurement, and expense processes across the organization
- Collaborate with the CEO, department heads, and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA/CPA/ACCA is a plus)
- Minimum of 8 years in a senior finance role, ideally in a tech or fintech company
- Strong financial modeling and strategic planning skills
- Deep knowledge of local tax laws, audit processes, and reporting standards
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional financial operations
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Experience setting up internal controls and compliance frameworks.
Salary
N800,000 per month.
