Job Title: Head, Geosciences

Description
- This role is responsible for measuring, recording, or evaluating geological data, using sonic, electronic, electrical, seismic, or gravity-measuring instruments to prospect for oil and gas.Â
- The key responsibilities will include project planning, resource evaluation, technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while managing staff and collaborating with other departments to achieve exploration and development goals.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a related discipline or MBA will be an added advantage
- Membership in any related professional body will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of first degree in Geology, Geophysics, or any Geosciences related disciplineÂ
- Minimum of #10-#15 years of exploration experience in an upstream companyÂ
- Extensive experience in geological exploration, reservoir characterization, or related geoscience applicationsÂ
- Expertise in geological modeling software and data analysis tools (e.g., Petrel, ArcGIS, Go Cad).
