Job Title: Head, Billing

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Head, Billing function supports and ensure consistent operational cash inflow into the business by regular billing of customers and receivable management in strict compliance with credit policy.
  • Also the management of cash imprest to support company operations, projects, workflow and the team.

Requirements

  • To ensure all customers on retail and Post paid are billed appropriately while revenue accruing from bills are completely recognized accurately, classified and summarized in accordance to the required standards and regulatory laws.
  • Ensure money collectable from sales and takings are received in collection accounts and are fully reconciled to bank in order to block all cash leakages and loss of fund which may result in shareholders’ fund depletion.
  • Ensure regular lodgment of ishop inflows and preparation of relevant reports.
  • Manage cash imprest to support company operations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (2nd Class Upper/Upper Credit minimum)
  • Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA
  • Knowledge of Financial management systems, accounting policies and standards
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Strong presentation and financial modeling skills
  • 5 – 7 years post-NYSC experience
  • Managerial/supervisory experience is required
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent customer relationship & management
  • Incisive knowledge and experience with IT & accounting software
  • Demonstrable team management/leadership skills
  • Excellent technical skills
