Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a non-governmental organization registered
by law under CAC in 2019 to address the needs of vulnerable populations across thematic areas of
Education, Protection, Health/Nutrition, WASH/environment, Governance/Peace building and Early
recovery/livelihood. FRAD has since evolved into a dynamic organization committed to building the
resilience of vulnerable populations and promoting sustainable development in Nigeria and the world.
Position: Grant and Partnership Intern

Job Type: Internship
Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Grant Proposal Development
    ï‚· Assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing grant proposals to ensure alignment with donor
    guidelines and objectives.
    ï‚· Collaborate with program teams to gather relevant data and input for proposal submissions.
  2. Documentation and Record Keeping
    ï‚· Maintain organized records of all grant proposals, contracts, reports, and correspondence.
    ï‚· Ensure documentation is easily accessible and compliant with organizational and donor
    requirements.
  3. Partner Communication
    ï‚· Facilitate communication with partners, including updates, coordinating meetings, and addressing
    inquiries.
    ï‚· Ensure timely responses to partners regarding project implementation and reporting.
  4. Capacity Building Support
     Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions and workshops to strengthen partners’
    capacities.
    ï‚· Provide technical support to partners to meet grant requirements and enhance performance.
  5. Financial Report Review
    ï‚· Support the review and analysis of financial reports submitted by partners, ensuring compliance
    with budgets and grant agreements.
    ï‚· Assist in tracking grant spending and preparing financial summaries for management.
  6. Monitoring Partner Progress
     Track partners’ progress against project goals and grant timelines.
    ï‚· Prepare progress reports based on data collected from partners.
  7. Compliance Monitoring
    ï‚· Ensure adherence to donor regulations, including financial management, reporting, and
    procurement standards.
    ï‚· Conduct spot checks and review documentation to verify compliance with grant agreements.
  8. Data Analysis and Reporting
    ï‚· Collect, analyze, and interpret data from partner reports and monitoring activities.
    ï‚· Support the preparation of narrative and financial reports for internal and donor submission.
  9. Administrative Support
    ï‚· Provide day-to-day administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, managing
    correspondence, and organizing events.
    ï‚· Assist with logistics for donor visits, partner meetings, and related activities.
    Requirements
    ï‚· Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or any related social science field.
    ï‚· Age: Maximum of 26 years.
    ï‚· Graduation Period: Must have graduated within the last 2 years.
    ï‚· Eligibility: National Youth Corps members are encouraged to apply.
    ï‚· Experience: Less than 2 years of experience in a related field
    Skills and Competencies
    ï‚· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    ï‚· Fluency in English and local languages.
    ï‚· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    ï‚· Basic financial literacy.
    ï‚· Research and organizational skills.
    ï‚· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    ï‚· Attention to detail.
    ï‚· Teamwork and collaboration.
    Stipend
    This is an internship position, and the selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend for this role.
