Job Title: Gas Pipeline QA / QC Engineer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Frequent travel to Southwest & other project sites)
Type: 6-month contract (Extension based on performance)
Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our project team.
- As a premier energy services provider across West Africa, we deliver innovative solutions in oil, gas, and energy with precision and excellence.
- This role requires someone with strong quality control, pipeline integrity, and welding standards expertise to lead QA/QC efforts during pipeline construction across multiple sites in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for gas pipeline projects.
- Ensure compliance with ASME B31.8, B31.3, API 1104, and relevant industry codes.
- Supervise welding and NDT procedures, including hydrotesting, MPI, RT, UT, and PT.
- Conduct site inspections, pipeline testing, and integrity audits.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to maintain high-quality standards.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and audits for quality compliance.
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of experience in pipeline construction and QA/QC management.
- In-depth knowledge of pipeline codes (ASME, API, ISO).
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Project Management certification (PMI) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
