Job Overview
- We are seeking a highly experienced Gas Pipeline Construction Engineer to join our growing team.
- The successful candidate will oversee pipeline construction projects, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and manage all phases of execution and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pipeline construction and management projects across Nigeria
- Ensure compliance with ASME B31.8, B31.3, API 1104, and other relevant standards
- Manage project execution timelines, resources, and stakeholder engagement
- Conduct pipeline integrity testing and maintain safety and quality protocols
- Monitor adherence to regulatory and technical specifications
- Prepare project reports, assessments, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with QA/QC and engineering teams for optimal performance
- Travel frequently to Southwest Nigeria and other project sites
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience in pipeline construction and engineering
- Strong knowledge of ASME B31.8, B31.3, API 1104 standards
- Expertise in pipeline integrity testing and construction best practices
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry across different terrains
- Project Management certification (PMI or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
- Willingness to travel regularly and work in dynamic environments
