Overview:
AHACI is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Fundraising & Grants Development Manager to lead our fundraising strategy and drive successful grant acquisition efforts. This hybrid role combines relationship-building with donors and partners, alongside the writing and coordination of grant proposals and funding applications. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and experienced in both donor engagement and proposal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute AHACI’s fundraising strategy to increase donor support.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities from foundations, corporates, governments, and international donors.
- Write, review, and submit high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Organize and coordinate fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals.
- Track donor requirements, funding cycles, and ensure timely submissions.
- Collaborate with program teams to align funding with program needs and impact areas.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Communications, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fundraising, grants writing, or donor relations.
- Demonstrated success in securing grants or donations.
- Strong writing, communication, and proposal development skills.
- Familiarity with humanitarian or non-profit programming is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in donor databases, research tools, and MS Office Suite.
