Job Title: Front Desk / Administrative Assistant Officer
Location: Gudu, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, clients, and staff courteously and direct them to the appropriate offices or personnel.
- Manage the front desk area to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Handle inquiries in person, by phone, or via email.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain physical and digital office records and filing systems.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
- Assist with document preparation such as memos, reports, letters, and presentations.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and deliveries.
- Monitor and order office supplies to ensure the workplace is stocked and organized.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests with vendors and service providers.
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees by preparing workstations and materials.
- Serve as a liaison between departments to relay messages and ensure effective communication.
- Communicate with external stakeholders, clients, and service providers professionally.
- Maintain updated contact lists and databases.
- Provide administrative support to executives or department heads as needed.
- Take minutes during meetings and distribute as required.
- Assist in preparing reports and maintaining office documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma; an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in an administrative or front desk role is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Living around Gudu and it’s environ will be an advantage.
