WHAT WE DO …

INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY(SI) is an association of’international humanitarian aid which, for more than 40 years, has been providing relief to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to vital needs, drinking, eating, eating, eating, S’abriter. Particularly engaged in the fight against diseases related to unhealthy’, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions an expertise in the field of’access to drinking’water,’sanitation and the promotion of hygiene but also in that, essential, food security and means of’. Present in about twenty countries, SI – 2000 teams in total composed of’expatriates, national staffs, permanent staff at headquarters, some volunteers…intervene with professionalism and commitment in respect of cultures.

DESCRIPTION OF THE POST

The access and security reference includes the security team, made up of 4 people and each member of which is assigned to several countries ( spread over one or more geographic desks ).

He / she contributes, within the regional teams ( Desks ) concerned, to the implementation of the organization’s security, security and humanitarian access policy in each of the contexts concerned, in connection with the teams on each field.

He / she supports the teams, on each context concerned, in the analysis of the security context, the development of measures to manage security risks and develop humanitarian access, and in their implementation.

He / she supports field teams in incident management.

He/she participates in’integration /awareness-raising /training of newcomers on security, safety and humanitarian access aspects.

He/she joins a team of Referents Access & Security, coordinated by the manager. Within this team, he/she promotes the exchange of good practices, capitalizes on his experiences and contributes to thetools evolution, procedures and means.

He /she (non-exhaustive list) :

  • Provides direct operational support :
    • Contextual monitoring and analysis of’intervention contexts
    • Management of security and’humanitarian access: support for the development of the framework, archiving, implementation
    • Support to focal points and (if applicable) dedicated human resources on the ground
    • Knowledge and capacity building: briefings, training
    • Security audit and follow-up of recommendations
    • Follow-up of incident management, member of the’ crisis management team
  • Participates in the development of the global access and security framework :
    • Contribution to the development of the security management policy and framework
    • Design, monitoring and capitalization of institutional’action plans Access, Security and Safety
    • Development of the institutional training framework related to’access and security
    • Representation of IS in security-related instances

You have field experience in a security & humanitarian access coordination position, you want to work at the headquarters of’une dynamic association while keeping a lot d’interactions with the field, you like them security and humanitarian access challenges, you like accompany, even supervise international teams.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Generalist graduate level training in International Relations, Science-Policy with a specialization in Development, International Cooperation or logistics.
  • Essential experience in NGO d’ at least 5 years in humanitarian field missions including 3 years with responsibilities in safety management of’ teams and operations in hostile environment.
  • Ability to respond to a 24/7 security emergency.
  • Mastery of the most common office software (Word and Excel)
  • Language: french, english essential, spanish would be an asset
  • Experience on one or more of the contexts of’intervention appreciated.

IF YOU WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS

  • Position based at the headquarters of Solidarity International, in Clichy la Garenne (Mairie de Clichy Metro) with field trips
  • CDD Contract – Replacement Maternity Leave
  • Possibility of teleworking : 4 or 12 days of Teleworking per month or 100% of teleworking (Package paid monthly) with 3 days of mandatory face-to-face per month. In accordance with the Telework Charter in force and the manager.
  • Monthly gross remuneration : 3183€ or 3316€ according to the salary grid in force
  • Leave : 2.0833 CP /month and 1 day RTT / full month of work
  • Mutual (80 %), restaurant tickets (60%), transport tickets (50%) supported by the’association
  • Days of recovery and medical coverage taken care of 100% during the field trips.
