Summary
- We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise or materials in our warehouse and/or logistics facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products.
- Perform daily equipment checks (battery, brakes, fuel/oil levels, etc.) to ensure forklifts are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning, tagging, or updating system entries.
- Assist with organizing warehouse space for optimal efficiency.
- Report any damages, shortages, or quality issues to supervisors.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines.
- Support general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of [X years] relevant work experience.
- Valid forklift certification/license (where applicable).
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy items when required.
