Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all food and beverage operations within the resort, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of food and beverage offerings, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Work closely with the culinary team to develop and update menus, ensuring variety, creativity, and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and manage food and beverage costs, inventory levels, and wastage to maximize profitability.
- Train, mentor, and supervise food and beverage staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality ingredients and beverages from reliable suppliers at competitive prices.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competition to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably within the resort or hotel industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple food and beverage outlets, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and quality assurance.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and drive profitability.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, staff, and suppliers.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, licensing requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in food and beverage management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
