We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Fitter
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- Carry out mechanical repair and service of machines to ensure continuous operations.
Duties
- Repair and service machines in the mills and head house to ensure continuous operation.
- Fabricate parts needed for repair work
- Clean machines to enhance their hygienic condition
- Erection, Troubleshooting, and Installation of machines
- Create a suitable maintenance schedule and performing system maintenance accordingly.
- Conduct diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of the malfunction.
- Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.
- Adhere to all work-site safety rules and regulations
- Report all Quality and Food Safety Issues to the Food Safety Team.
- Report all FMN Lifesaving Rules Violation and Behavioral Based Safety to the Safety Department.
Qualification and experience
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB / Trade test.
- Technical Certificate is an added advantage.
- At least 2 years cognate experience.
The Person must:
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Posses a strong foundation of in technical skills, proficient in utilizing various tools and technologies to deliver efficient solutions.
- Understanding and interpreting technical documents and manuals.
- Have sound troubleshooting knowledge and skills with the ability to find and solve problems quickly.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
