Job Title: Fire Messenger
Location: Sabon Wuse, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary
- The Fire Messenger plays a critical role in supporting the firefighting department by delivering urgent messages, reports, and documents between fire stations, operational temas, and stakeholders.
- This position ensures that all communications and materials are delivered promptly and securely, particularly during emergencies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and sorting documents as needed.
- Assist in Combating & Extinguishes fires.
- Assist in executing rescues and riving victims in emergencies.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize deliveries during emergency situations.
- Assist in the coordination of comunication during emergencies by ensuring swift delivery of critical information.
- Deliver time-sensitive messages, reports and documents to and from fire stations, emergency sites and administrative offices.
- Support operational logistics, including the transportation of small equipments or supplies if required.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE/NCE/OND.
- Fire Training certificate from recognized Fire Training Institute of Nigeria
- Familiarity with the operations and structure of firefighting departments is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a large manufacturing industry which has fire protection system including external fire-hydrant system, sprinkler system, foam spray system and firefighting trucks.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in emergency situations.
