SBC has recently entered into the Home & Personal Care category with the 2SURE brand and launched its first product, a Hand & Surface Sanitizer. Seven Up boasts of nine bottling plants with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically located across various regions in the country.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Specialist (Reconciliation) FMCG

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily and monthly bank reconciliation on the collection, imprest, and remittance accounts at the region.
  • Liaise with bankers on issues relating to online bank statements, failed payments, and vendors’ complaints on payments.
  • Process approved payment for administrative related expenses at the region. i.e. imprest expenses.
  • Support Finance Lead in raising journals as relates to month-end financial closure.
  • Validate payments from scrap buyers and generate receipts thereon for the purpose of other income recognition.
  • Support the OFM in preparation of assigned monthly reports and analysis.
  • Participate actively in the month end stock count activities.

Requirements

  • BSC/HND in relevant field.
  • 3yrs+ post qualification experience in Manufacturing Environment is an added Advantage
  • Professional Level Qualification in Accounting and Finance–ACCA, ACA, CIMA
  • Sound financial and accounting
  • knowledge, management
  • Accountancy, Business Planning, and Analysis.
  • Excellent Ability related to Data
  • Analytics at both financial and operational fronts
  • A high degree of resourcefulness and ingenuity are required to develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity.
