Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer to oversee the efficient posting and reconciliation of all company and client transactions.
- This role involves ensuring the accuracy and completeness of transactions, maintaining confidentiality, maximizing returns on funds, and supporting the Finance & Operations team in maintaining regulatory compliance and achieving customer satisfaction.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in transaction processing, mutual fund operations, treasury management, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accurate posting and reconciliation of all company and client transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Process daily fund subscriptions, redemptions, inflows, and outflows, and prepare timely financial and regulatory reports.
- Manage investment schedules, and bank reconciliations, and ensure timely booking of financial instruments.
- Prevent fraud, income leakages, and processing errors while ensuring transaction accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain relationships with banks, counterparties, and regulatory authorities to support treasury and fund operations.
- Assist with audits, documentation, and compliance with SEC and internal regulations.
- Prepare management accounts, and investment reports, and ensure timely recovery of WHT and other receivables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3-5 Years Experience in related positions and industry
- Financial Statements and Financial Reporting skills
- Analytical Skills
- Finance expertise
- Strong Communication skills.
