Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilties
Job Functions as but not limited to the following:
- Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports.
- Analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
- Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
- Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
- Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
- Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
- Preparing financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts
- Monitoring financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met
- Supervising employees who do financial reporting and budgeting
- Reviewing company financial reports and seeking ways to reduce costs
- Analyzing market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities
- Helping management make financial decisions
- Developing and implementing strategies for financial goals of the organization
- Working with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Evaluating and managing risk
- Ensuring cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- In-depth understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial modeling
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strategic thinking with attention to detail
- Leadership experience preferred
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
