We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance and Administrative Officer

Location: Oyo
Employment Type: Full – time

Description

  • Manage and oversee all financial aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor guidelines.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial data collection.
  • Process project expenses, track project costs, and maintain financial records.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures for the project.
  • Ensure adherence to financial controls, procurement guidelines, and accounting standards.
  • Liaise with auditors and provide the necessary documentation for project audits.
  • Support the project team in preparing financial reports for donors, stakeholders, and management.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including travel arrangements, logistics coordination, and procurement.
  • Maintain project files, records, and documentation organized and securely.
  • Assist in the preparation of project contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events related to the project.
  • Manage project inventory and assets, ensuring proper maintenance and utilization.
  • Support the project team in monitoring and reporting on project progress, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of donor financial reporting requirements is desirable.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices is an asset.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification

  • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Accounting or related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:

  • Have excellent communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).
  • Have ability to use basic Microsoft software (word, excel, PowerPoint).
  • Have strong multi-tasking abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Have proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience.
  • Have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
