Job Title: Finance Analyst

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time / Onsite
Reports To: Head, Corporate Finance

Job Overview

  • The Financial Analyst supports the Corporate Finance team in evaluating investment opportunities, developing financial models, conducting due diligence, and delivering strategic insights across private equity and project finance portfolios.
  • This role also plays a key part in ensuring compliance with internal controls, risk management policies, and regulatory frameworks

Job Responsibilities
Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence:

  • Assist in the review and analysis of new investment opportunities, including financial, commercial, and operational assessments.
  • Support the due diligence process by gathering and validating data, identifying risks, and contributing to investment memos and presentations.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking analysis to support investment decisions.

Financial Modelling & Analysis:

  • Build, update, and maintain robust financial models for valuation, scenario planning, and return analysis.
  • Support stress testing, cash flow forecasting, and financial projections for both new and existing investments.
  • Analyze portfolio company performance and provide recommendations for value optimization.

Strategic Insights & Portfolio Support:

  • Generate reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to the Head of Corporate Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and macroeconomic indicators relevant to portfolio performance.
  • Assist in developing pitch materials, investor reports, and board-level presentations.

Risk & Compliance:

  • Support the implementation of internal controls, financial governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Identify and escalate potential financial or operational risks during analysis and due diligence.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory standards, corporate policies, and audit requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Educationand Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA Level I or ACCA in progress/completed is an advantage.
  • 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
  • Proficiency in Excel-based financial modelling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.

Salary
N350,000ngn – N400,000 / month.
