Job Title: Field Engineer
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Configuration: Expertly install and configure access control systems, including turnstiles, biometric attendance devices, revolving booth doors, CCTV cameras, and baggage scanners.
- Commissioning & Integration: Commission systems and integrate them with existing infrastructure to ensure seamless operation.
- Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support to ensure optimal system performance.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum of an OND, HND or B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in installing and maintaining security systems such as CCTV, access control, and biometric devices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in networking (TCP/IP, PoE), system integration, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with video management software (VMS) and NVR/DVR systems is advantageous.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA) are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
