Job Description
- A Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- They play a key role in increasing revenue by managing sales activities and developing relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Approach potential customers through various channels (cold calls, emails, social media, networking).
- Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services. Conduct product demonstrations and answer customer queries to address their needs.
- Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate terms of agreements, prices, and other conditions with clients.Close sales deals and manage the sales pipeline to ensure continuous flow of prospects and deals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Provide after-sales support to retain customers and encourage repeat business.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Report on sales activities and results using CRM software.Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track progress towards sales targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and other departments to ensure alignment in achieving business goals.
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and support overall sales strategy.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
- Attend training sessions and sales meetings to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications
- HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role.Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office.Key Competencies:Results-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.Customer-focused with a keen ability to build and maintain relationships.Adaptability to work in a fast-paced.
Salary
N80,000 monthly.
