Job Title: Fashion Design Officer

Position Summary
- We are looking for a passionate and creative Fashion Design Officer to join our team and help us take our vision to the next level.
- The Fashion Design Officer will play a crucial role in the development and execution of our fashion collections.
- This individual will work closely with our design team to create innovative and stylish designs that align with our brand’s identity as well as train and coach other young women.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion design, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of current fashion trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and create original fashion designs for various collections.
- Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and execute seasonal fashion lines.
- Conduct market research to identify current and upcoming fashion trends.
- Create detailed sketches, patterns, and prototypes of designs.
- Select fabrics, embellishments, color palettes, and style for each design.
- Oversee the production process to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards.
- Work closely with other departments (marketing, sales, production) to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Present design ideas and collections to senior management for approval.
- Attend fashion shows and events to represent the brand and gather inspiration.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the fashion industry and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fashion design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
- Excellent sketching and illustration skills.
- Deep understanding of garment construction and production processes.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate ideas effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for fashion and a strong sense of creativity.
