Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic Facilities Engineer to join our team in Nigeria.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the maintenance, operations, and improvements of our facilities.
  • You will work closely with operational teams to ensure that facilities are safe, efficient, and aligned with company standards.
  • Key responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, coordinating maintenance schedules, and implementing facility-related projects that support overall business objectives.
  • Your expertise will ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and that safety regulations are adhered to.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to enhance operational performance.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, engineering, or a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance management, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local and international safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in facilities management or engineering (e.g., LEED, PMP) are a plus.
